Do you just kinda doodle these as you go along?. It seems like it's just one of those things you just found yourself doin out of nowhere (really don't know how I get this impression) and then polish them up to make them look great.

a bit yes and a bit no, for me myself mecha is always how's going to be like this or how's going to be like that. That random things eventually will lead me into something.. or form. ;)
